NICE TO MEET YOU
My name is Marko Degenek. I am a professional model, actor, fashion PR, blogger & coach. I was born on February 18 in Ljubljana – the capital city of Slovenia.
I graduated from the Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering at University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. I haven’t tested myself more concretely in this profession (yet), since my life path has led me around the world for the last 10 years. On my website, I will try to regularly share pieces of this journey, in hope you will find some of the stories interesting.

CURRENT FOCUS
Currently, I devote most of my time to fashion, to modeling & to Chinese high-end fashion & lifestyle magazine MODE. At MODE, I take care of public relations, especially outside the borders of China – as being in contacts with producers, editors, photographers, stylists & representatives of fashion brands – in short, with everyone, who wants to introduce themselves or the brand to the rapidly growing Chinese market. The latest works from the world of modeling you can follow & see on my social media networks.
In my free time, I like to impart basketball knowledge to young aspiring basketball players, here in Shanghai. Basketball was my first love and has been with me since the age of five.
I also invest time & energy in the joint family project – BIOR, which includes natural cosmetics products made on the basis of Immortelle plant, grown in the village of Orlic, in Dalmatia, Croatia, where my father comes from.
Depending on how successful I am with everything I am currently doing, I will return a certain amount of money and donate it to charity every year. Despite the fact, this project is still at an early stage and very small, I named it the Marko Degenek Foundation.
