On Friday, the first of July, I was called for photo shoot in a studio I had never been to before. The studio is located on the fifth floor inside the old 1940 Creative Park in Baoshan District (Shanghai). The number 1940 most likely represents the beginning of the park’s operation.
The interior of the studio is very varied, with many elements of different shapes and different designs. Despite the diversity, the space maintains a minimalist and “clean” look. The dominant color is white, which intertwines with elements of wood and glass. The windows there are round with long white sheer curtains, Mirrors are discreetly placed all over the studio – on the walls and ceiling. The lighting of the entire room could be adjusted to any color of the color scale. Quite impressive.
I arrived at the location a little earlier than appointed hour, so I had enough time to explore the surroundings and the interior of the park.
While I was waiting all ready to be called to the set and start the shoot, I took some mirror selfies, using different angles, light and mirrors in the studio.
