A day to remember

Campaign photo shoot for the clothing brand Caser took place on Saturday, November 13, somewhere on the shores of the Yellow Sea in the suburbs of Qingdao. It was a beautiful sunny, but cold day. Qingdao is located in northwest China, where winters, despite the sea position, can be quite harsh, so temperatures that were around zero degrees that day were no surprise.

The new Caser spring-summer clothing collection consisted of very light and short clothes for sports and leisure, underwear and pajamas. Taking pictures, as well as videos, were placed mostly outside, in a beautiful sea ambience right next to the villa where we slept the night before (see previous post). Despite the fact that the clothes were pure summer, the cold due to the strong sun was luckily not overly felt. The team was simply fantastic, the organization flawless, so everything went very quickly. We changed several set locations: from the stairs leading to the beach, to the infinity pool, lounge space in the hotel, various rooms and viewing platforms. You can see some of them in the gallery below.

It was really a day to remember! Photoshoot was only scheduled for Saturday. After we finished, agent Linda, through whom I was booked for this job, suggested I should stay for an extra day or two and take a closer look at beautiful Qingdao through the eyes of a tourist. I was totally up for it, but unfortunately, a working Sunday awaited for me the next day, so I had to fly back to Shanghai the same day, late at night.

I hope next time…
